Monroe Falcons Hockey History
With the assistance and dedication of students, parents, community members, teachers and administration, Monroe Township High School fielded its first Ice Hockey program as a school club during the 2005-2006 school year. The club team practiced two times per week and competed in 6 Junior Varsity games, going 5-1 in the process. The following year was the teams inaugural varsity season where they collected their first varsity win in their first varsity game versus Bayonne High School. The team finished their inaugural season with a 10-7-1 overall record. They followed the first season with a state tournament appearance the following year, suffering defeat to Brick Memorial in the first round.
