Over the past two weekends, the Junior Varsity Falcons have improved their record to 3 - 1 with a 3 - 1 win over Manalapan and a 6 - 3 win over Jackson Memorial.
Versus Manalapan, the game was tied 0 - 0 and 1 - 1 for the majority of play. The Falcons scored two late third period goals to break the tie and take home the victory. Senior defenseman Tyler Kavalar, Freshman forward Stan Monak and Freshman forward Nick Andreassi scored the goals for the Falcons. Sophomore forward Kristen Michalowski, Sophomore defenseman Conor Ciulla, Freshman forward Vincent Ciprello and Tyler Kavalar added assists. Sophomore goaltender Chris Eidlen made 22 saves in the win.
Versus Jackson Memorial, the Falcons took a 6 - 1 lead into the third period and held on for a 6 - 3 victory. Scoring goals for the Falcons were Sophomore forward Frank Stuto (2), Freshman forward Stan Monak (2), Junior forward Dominick Micciulla and Sophomore forward Alex Van Driesen. Frank Stuto, Stan Monak (2), and Alex Van Driesen added the assists. Freshman goaltender Doug Siravo made 22 saves in his first victory as a Falcon.
The team will look to improve their record further on January 3rd when they take on Manasquan at 8:00 p.m.
