Greg Anash Featured in The Star-Ledger

February 4, 2009

Monroe Falcons Senior Forward Greg Anash is featured in The Star-Ledger today in the Boys Ice Hockey Weekly Preview. He is featured in the Player To Watch section for Middlesex County. Below is the snippet of the article that features Greg.

PLAYER TO WATCH
Greg Anash is a rugged forward who likes to dig the puck out of the corners and play a physical game for Monroe.

The senior can also score, as he proved when he netted four goals to highlight an 8-3 victory over Princeton last Friday.

"He's strong on the puck and fights hard for loose pucks," Monroe coach Gerard Minter said. "We lost him in the second game last year with a dislocated shoulder, so we are fortunate to have him this season."

Anash, who has eight goals and three assists for Monroe (6-8-2), skates on a line with Stan Monak and David Knotts and is a regular on Monroe's power-play unit alongside Jon Roman, Artie Thompson, Frank Stuto and Ryan Kloby.
