The Falcons Junior Varsity Team opened their 2008-2009 season on Saturday with a 6 - 0 victory over Brick Memorial. The win marked the first ever shutout by any Falcons Hockey Team.
Scoring goals for the Falcons were sophomore defenseman Nick Modugno, sophomore forward Dylan Henning, sophomore forward Alex Van Driesen (2), freshman forward Stan Monak, and sophomore forward Frank Stuto. Adding assists were Dylan Henning, sophomore forward Kristen Michalowski, and sophomore defenseman Conor Ciulla. Sophomore goaltender Chris Eidlen made 7 saves in the shutout.
The JV Falcons are back in action next Sunday at 8:15 p.m. against Jackson Memorial.
