Monroe Falcons Hockey Pucks for Bucks Program

Hockey Fights Cancer
The Monroe Falcons Ice Hockey Team is proud to support Hockey Fights Cancer through their "Pucks for Bucks" team fundraising program. The program works by raising funds for each goal the Falcons Varsity Team scores during the season. Sponsors make a commitment to donate a specified amount for each goal or make a flat donation to the program. At the conclusion of the season, the Monroe Falcons Ice Hockey Team donates 50% of the funds raised to Hockey Fights Cancer.

Hockey Fights Cancer is a joint initiative founded in December 1998 by the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players' Association to raise money and awareness for hockey's most important fight. It is supported by NHL Member Clubs, NHL Alumni, the NHL Officials' Association, Professional Hockey Trainers and Equipment Managers, corporate marketing partners, broadcast partners and fans throughout North America. To date, more than $10 million has been raised to support national and local cancer research institutions, Children’s Hospitals, player charities and local cancer organizations.
