Head Coach Jerry Minter enters his 4th season behind the bench for the Falcons Ice Hockey Team. He has served as the team’s Head Coach since the program’s inception in 2005-2006. During his tenure, he has led the Falcons to an overall record of 30-26-4 and a NJSIAA State Playoff appearance in 2007-2008. Coach Minter's goals for this year’s team are player development, overall team & program building and qualifying for the NJSIAA State Playoffs.
Prior to serving as the Falcons Ice Hockey Head Coach, Coach Minter was a forward for 4 seasons at West Virginia University (WVU), ACHA Division I. During his four seasons at WVU, he was a two-time ACHA Academic All-American, three-time WVU Scholar Athlete and member of the 1999-2000 team that qualified for the National Championship Tournament in Minot, North Dakota. Following his playing career at WVU, he served as the team’s graduate assistant coach for 2 seasons where he focused on individual player development and team strategy.
Coach Minter graduated from WVU in 2003 with a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics and Master Degree in Secondary Education. He is currently a Teacher of Mathematics and Computer Science at Monroe Township High School.
